Christian Outreach Centre is a movement that strongly believes in serving God and serving people through leadership, raising leaders throughout the nations to influence our world for Christ. Jesus Christ has commissioned us to go and make disciples. Both leadership and relationship, working together, facilitate this discipling process.
We have tremendous leaders in all of our churches. Deeply committed to the development of individuals into their call and giftings in God, COC aims to provide teaching, coaching and resources specifically designed for this purpose. There is a place for you!

Elected in 2009 to the International Presidency of COC, Ashley and Ruth Schmierer are dual citizens of Australia and Britain. Since 1993 they have lived in Brighton, England, where they pioneered COC’s UK and European base. Serving effectively as Chairmen for the UK and Europe, through their leadership and strategic connections, many churches have been established across Europe, Middle East, North India and Nepal.
Having pastored their first church in Innisfail, Australia, Ashley and Ruth train ministers to carry the good news of Jesus Christ to individuals, cities and nations. Their ministry embraces many cultures with a relevant Gospel, while strengthening and connecting national leaders.
Ashley and Ruth believe that every person is called by God to love Him, love people and make a real difference in this world. They have two daughters who now live in England. With many spiritual children they minister as a true father and mother, helping people find fulfillment with influence through God’s purpose for their lives.
As strategic visionaries believing in God’s power and people’s potential, Ashley and Ruth know that the big picture, broken down into bite-sized pieces, becomes achievable as we each commit to doing our part.
